Before learning the methodology and meaning of SCORE in terms of International Labour Organisation, firstly let us understand the meaning in simple terms.

Combining the above meanings, it can be said that SCORE is a practical training and in-factory counselling programme that improves productivity and working conditions in small and medium enterprises.

The SCORE programme combines classroom training with on-site consultations, to fully address individual company needs. It is based on lean manufacturing techniques that are proven to increase production efficiency. It builds worker – manager cooperation in support of initiatives that improve enterprise performance. It represents excellent value for money – training costs can be recovered within one month.
